Stay in the heart of Amsterdam with an abundance of boutiques, museums, restaurants and cafés on your doorstep. In the most convivial neighborhood, de Jordaan, you will find the houseboat of your dreams.

This stunning, luxurious houseboat is located on the Keizersgracht near to the brouwersgracht and is suited for up to 5 persons.

The boat is situated within walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer.

The houseboat is a monumental, authentic ship built in 1927 with a beautiful Berkel motor that is still running, the only one in the Netherlands. In one of the bedrooms you have a window with a view on the Berkel Motor.

The boat has been totally rebuilt in the inside and fitted with every amenity while maintaining the boats original heritage look.

Two bedrooms and one sleeping couch makes the boat suitable for up to five people.

A private entrance and your own key code means you can come and go as you please.

The boat is available for short stays but also for longer periods.

The houseboat is decorated and furnished in warm, natural colours and fabrics, creating an oasis of peace in the busy city centre.

Each bedroom features two comfortable beds. One bedroom features a bathroom with shower and the other bedroom is featured with a two-person whirlpool bath and has a window with a view on the antique motor.

Both bedrooms are equipped with LED light, LCD TV and DVD player.

In between is the living with an open kitchen. The toilet is separate.

The kitchen is equipped with, amongst other things, a combination microwave oven, dishwasher, 4 burner gas stove and built in fridge-freezer.

If you prefer not to go out for dinner every night you can enjoy a meal around the dining table.

The boat also features LED lighting that can be changed in different colors, LCD TV, DVD and WiFi internet, Nespresso machine, water boiler, Ipod dock and is heated with modern central heating system.

The deck is one big terrace, so you can enjoy the sun sitting on the sun chairs.

The houseboat is situated in the center, the middle of the Jordaan neighborhood, within walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station. The small houses are typical of a neighborhood built for the working class and migrants. In the sixties a large-scale renovation of the old buildings took place. Families with children left and entrepreneurs and students came to take their place. The Jordaan, bursting with intimate boutiques, café’s and restaurants, is the ideal place to live!

Situated in the immediate vicinity are various places of interest and museums such as the Anne Frank House, the Westertoren, the Palace on Dam Square, Madame Tussauds and the trendy Westerpark with plenty of new places to eat and drink. The Jordaan itself is home to a number of old ‘hofjes’, publicly accessible courtyards such as the Lindenhofje and the Looyershofje which are certainly worth a visit. On a Saturday you can combine a visit to a ‘hofje’ with a stroll around the organic farmers’ market or the Antiques/Brocante Market. Or wander around the famous 9 streets, picturesque shopping streets full of heritage-listed buildings. It’s a trendy neighbourhood with flagship stores and branches of every luxury chain.

Amsterdam’s vibrant night life is in close proximity to the boat. Around 10 minute walk ing away are the Leidseplein and the Rembrandtplein, where you’ll find the bigger clubs like Jimmy Choo, The Escape and Club Air.

Amsterdam is yours to explore when you rent a bike from one of the nearby rental facilites. It’s the perfect way to get around this lively city!

The houseboat is located within 10 minutes walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. Trains depart from Schiphol Airport to Central Station 5 times per hour (20 minute journey). We can also arrange a transfer from or to the airport for € 35 and takes under 20 minutes (barring traffic jams).
